Identification of Potential Groundwater Recharge Zone Using Remote Sensing and GIS in Upstream Cibeet Sub-watershed, Bogor, West Java

Abstract The Upstream Cibeet sub-watershed is part of the Citarum watershed and with an area 69.35 km 2 . Hydrologically, upstream usually functions as a recharge area, its development should be geared towards land conservation erosion mitigation. Parameters rainfall, soil type texture, geology, lineament density, drainage geomorphology, cover are used in predicting most potential catchment area. Thematic maps were made for each parameter. Weighting carried out using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) following results: rainfall 0 %, texture 34.62 geology 24.98 density 17.66 8.57 geomorphology 9.34 4.83 %. integration thematic map resulted four zonations, namely zone poor (4.93 %), fair (32.67 good (60.58 very (1.81 %) potential. Based on groundwater table contour, mimics surface topography flows from south to north northeast study Geological structures possess NE-SW NW-SE trend normal oblique regime. Structural damage zones predicted function conduits water movement, especially volcanic intrusion lithology.
